Andasti Performing Arts Mentoring Academy specializes in providing unmatched motivation to elementary school males in order to reduce suspensions and raise student achievement. We focus on social skills for preteens, while providing motivation to behave appropriately in school and to complete assignments to raise instructional progress.  Andasti will naturally engage kids in learning self-monitoring tools, self-esteem building strategies, and will also promote self-care practices for young people engaging in social media.

 

What Works Clearinghouse declares mentoring a strong tiered evidence based approach to improving school outcomes. Bayer, Baldwin, & Dubois (2015) suggests that true and authentic mentorship can empower young people and improve academic outcomes. In fact, mentorship can enhance classroom participation, work completion, social and emotional well-being, decrease behavioral problems, and stimulate learning.
